Heroes of Today, Argentine Trailblazers

 

Heroes of Today is a documentary that tells the story of contemporary Argentine inventors. My role in this project included storyboard artist, graphic designer, illustrator, and animator.

The series was produced with the support of the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA, Argentina) and was nominated for Best Documentary Program on television at the 2014 Martín Fierro Federal Awards.

I contributed to the creation of the visual style and its implementation throughout the animation process all the way down to exporting the final files for broadcasting.

Below is a compilation of the animations we created for this project. We used a mixture of stop motion, traditional drawing and digital animation.
